Creative baby gift ideas?

My nephew's birthday is coming up. I don't know what to get for his birthday. He's turning 2 years old. I have bought him toys in the past and bought him a lot of clothes, but he has tons!!!! And I mean tons! They have a whole room just to put all the toys in, so I know he doesn't need any more toys. They can donate half of their toys and still have a lot left over. And he has plenty of clothes and shoes, he has a full closet of them. What can I get him that is different and creative?

Creative baby gift ideas?
I bet the best keepsake you can give a baby is a handmade portrait or painting made from one of his most cute photos. Just send the photo(s) to the guys at http://www.paintyourlife.com and they will create wonders out of that innocent looking photo. You will definitely like it, and so will everyone who sees it. The service is fast and fairly priced. Take a look and judge for yourself!

The same company also has a studio for oil paintings reproductions. Visit them at http://www.oil-paintings-reproductions.c... and have a look at their 'stock on sale' if you are looking for an affordable gift urgently.
Reply:buy him some stocks
Reply:Not sure where your nephew lives, but if you there is a zoo or children's museum nearby, you can buy him a year's membership so he can go anytime.
Reply:I am always struggling with my family too. So i try not to buy Toys and clothes

A good present would be a book. Kids love books and they can be passed on.

Failing that. Maybe be creative. Make him something, a scrapbook his family and he can add to over the years, pics of his firsts and all that. You can get him something every birthday and xmas to add to it.
Reply:If I were you, I would get him a fisher price easel and a whole bunch of finger paints and paper and plan a day where you and him finger paint together for a few hours. Maybe take a picture of yourself with some paint on your face and stick it to the easel so when he opens it up his 2 year old mind can immediately know what it is for and anticipate what is going to happen (Auntie and me are going to paint together) or something along those lines....hopes this helps get the idea ball rolling for you!
Reply:try the diaper cake.. it's really cool.
