What can I put on my shoes to make them more slippery for turns in dance?

I can't think of anything. Baby powder?

Depending on the sole of the shoe, you could use a little bit of armor all. Test it out though, sometimes it can become REALLY slippery
Reply:Don't put it on your shoes cause you won't be standing long, but you can have whoever owns the dance floor sprinkle it with dance wax. I wouldn't use the vaseline idea. Those tracks could be embarrassing.
Reply:Yes, talcim powder.
Reply:What else good old vaseline or maybe alittle baby oil on the bottom of your shoes.
Reply:turtle wax.
Reply:baby powder
Reply:oil
Reply:that should work or get one of those little sacks at a bowling alley or bowling supply store to use on shoes to keep from sticking.

you just slap it on the bottoms of your shoes..it has the powder in them.
Reply:Spit on the floor, rub your shoes in it. It's gross, but it works for turns. (Like, on ballet slippers or jazz shoes or lyrical shoes)
