what do i do... she has those scratches since today morning. I dont know where the sticking out wire came from. I've thrown the sandals away.... what should i apply on the scratches?? i feel so bad and will feel evern worse once my hubby sees my daughters legs
My baby has many scratches on her legs, caused by something i discovered later, a wire sticking out of shoe?
Try applying neosporin or polysporin. It will help them heal and prevent infection.
I would suggest going to the store where you got the shoes and showing them the shoes and what happened to your daughter. They could give you your money back or something. Or, call the company that manufactures the shoes. This could happen to another parent and child.
Reply:depending on the scratches depeth make sure they keep clean she will most likely pull band aids off and try to eat them..
Reply:Neosporin (sorry about spelling)
Reply:i would use neosporin on the scratches
Reply:neosporin in aids in faster healing and its also antibiotic so they wont get infected
Reply:If Breastfeeding, expressing some milk and rubbing into the wound can help in healing and prevent infection, if not, you can apply a mild antibiotic or anti septic.
i do recommend taking the baby to your GP so he can take a look at the scratches.. and make sure you contact the place you bought those sandals from and report the incident.
Reply:why do you feel bad? you didn't do it on purpose. I'd apply some sort of anti-bacterial cream. Hell she prolly doesn't even need that...just a wash down will be good enough unless they are deep and in the case i'd take her to the doctor.
I would have taken the shoes back to the store you got them at and show them ur baby's legs. Did you try looking up the shoes? maybe they are on recall...
Reply:use some neosporin creame and try to find those shoes and take them back to where you got them
