Wide feet after baby?
This is probably not what you want to hear, but my feet never went back to the size they were before my first daughter (who is 3yrs. old now).
Reply:I went from a 9 to a 10. I am finally parting with all of my pre-pregnancy shoes!
Reply:My baby is 19 months old, and I've finally started replacing all my old shoes. My feet are bigger all over, and they're super-wide now. Sorry.
Reply:the reason your feet seem wider is because they are. during pregnancy your body produces hormone relaxin to make it easier for your hips to open up to let baby through. it relaxes your ligaments all over your body feet included. so go shoe shopping dont complain yay for new shoes
Reply:Have you lost all of your baby weight yet? I found that when I lose some weight, my feet lose it too. Although, my feet have definetely gotten bigger since I had kids. Before kids I wore a 7 and now I'm between 8 and 8 1/2. It might be time to get new shoes.
Reply:It's very common for women's feet to get bigger after having a child. I don't understand why but it has happened to me and ALL of my friends, wierd!
Reply:sorry to say, it doesnt go away unfortunately. my feet got wider as well after my 1st child. gotta love the 'wonderful' changes pregnancy does to your body.
Reply:Mine did the same thing, don't wait any longer, spoil yourself a little and get some new, bigger shoes. Your feet will thank you.
Reply:Pregnancy changes us in so many ways... I thought I'd suffered every indignity and then I discovered my shoes no longer fitted.

After months of waddling around in flat shoes, I lost all the weight, got dressed up, tried on a pair of heels and... felt like an elephant again.

Use it as an excuse to go shopping, sure... but I'm still saddened by it.
