Did your feet go back to normal after baby?

My feet seem to have gone up a whole size after my twin pregnancy and now none of my shoes fit (I wore flip-flops during the whole pregnancy)! The swelling I had before seems to have gone; but now my feet seem bigger %26amp; wider. Will they go back to normal or should I just forget about ever wearing my old shoes again?

its definitely normal.... after i had my first, my shoe size went up about 1 size.. and then after my second, they went up 1/2 a size...my youngest is 2 and they still havnt went back to the size 5 1/2 i started at.... but i would only buy on bigger pair of shoes for now... something comfy and that you can wear with anything... that way, if they go back down, you wont have to buy a new shoe collection all over again.
Reply:Its been 7 months....And I just have been able to get back into Some of my strappy heels. I haven't even thought about putting my pups into any of the 4 inchers. Just sounds brutal for some reason.
Reply:The swelling will go down but the size won't. I started out an 8, then with my 1st pregnancy I went to an 8 1/2 then with my second, I now wear a 9.
Reply:Mine never went back to normal. I went from an 8 1/2 or 9 to a 9 1/2.





My mom was a size 7 before she had children. After her 3rd, she wore an 8 1/2... and still does.





Oh... and I lost all of the baby weight so that's not a factor.
Reply:Idid the same thing, as long as you lose the baby weight your feet SHOULD go back but until then I would definately buy another comfy pair the size you are now.... I have a pair from my pregnancy too :)
Reply:mine never did, they never got longer, just wider (and they were wide to begin with!!)
Reply:it is normal that you will go up a few sizes during pregnancy because of the swelling then after pregnancy they go down but they are still a size bigger than what you were before you were pregnant, i didn't really take notice if my feet went up or stayed the same after my pregnancy because i pretty much live in my thongs 24/7
Reply:whew i know what you mean i could not wear any of my shoes when i was late into my 1st pregnancy. my feet were huge and swollen like crazy but mine went back to normal about 5 days after her birth
Reply:My feet shrunk by 1 1/2 size after my 2 girls.Used to be a 71/2 now a 6. So you might be able to wear your shoes again.
Reply:My feet went up a whole size too with my first pregnancy and they didn't go back to normal (even after the swelling went down). I'm pregnant again and they seem to have grown another size too!
Reply:My mothers feet grew a size as well when she was pregnant with me and they never went back...
Reply:many women's feet grow during pregnancy and they don't go back to their old size. the swelling will disappear but the widening doesn't. my mom's feet grew... so i expect mine to one day as well.. thankfully i am not a shoe fanatic. i don't really care at all about what goes on my feet as long as they are comfy..

Reply:My feet went up a 1/2 size with each of my two children. And I mean longer not wider. They never went down, and I had to get all new shoes from a 9 to a 10.... I'm still upset...LOL
Reply:nope your feet widen and they do not go back. Unless its just swelling. If you wore flip flops your feet spread from the extra weight. they are now officially bigger!!
Reply:Before I had my children I wore a size 6. Now I wear a 7 1/2 to 8. People do not believe me that my feet grew. It is nice to know that I am not alone.
