What size shoe should i buy my 12 month old son??

We printed one of those bay gap feet measure papers from offline but it says it would be a 3-4 or something like that but we have a pair of vans in size 4 and they are too small and he has wide feet.. so my husband just ordered him two pair of shoes from baby gap in size 6 for later this summer, do you think those will be too big? my daughter is 2.5 and wears a size 7 so I just wasn't sure since he has such wide feet if they will work for him. I heard that toddlers feet grows every 2-4 months.

What size shoe should i buy my 12 month old son??
Sound like your son has a wide foot and is going to need to try on different kinds of shoes to find one that is both good in width as well as length, instead of just buying a shoe that is too big at the toes. This is really something you'll probably have to head off to a kids shoe store (think Stride Rite) to find shoes that fit him well.
Reply:feet are something you dont mess with. you can create serious issues for him later if they do not fit right and waste your money in the process.

there is no real advantage to buting baby shoes online.

go and get them from a shoe store , it will be better in the long run.
Reply:I think you should take your son to a local store for a proper shoe fitting. It is too risky getting the wrong size online unless you are 100% sure.you and your son will enjoy the experience.
Reply:Your right they do grow every 2-4 months, go to clarkes to get your sons shoes because they all so meassure the roof of there feet he could be size 3g or 4f your better off going to somewhere thats knows what there doing
Reply:You should go to Payless Shoes, they will size him for you and they have a selection of wide shoes. That is where I get my sons shoes and if they have the BOGO sale you can buy yourself a pair at half off!
Reply:You need to get them measured often my daughter is 2 and she is in a size 4 i get her measured every 6-8 weeks. My daughters feet have been a size 4 for longer than 4 months there all different x
Reply:just go to a shoe store and find out what size he wears then order that size, don't make a science project out of it!
Reply:you need to go to shoe shop with your kid.

then try on!

kid's foots are vary. you need to give him right one.

even teenager need to try on when they buy shoes.

kids are not adult. their foots are keep changing and grow.

he dont walk much without right shoes. be careful.
Reply:take him with u to the shoe store and get his foot sized.
Reply:It's easier to go to a local store rather than buying them online. My son inherited my husband's big feet and is in a size 9 at age 3 so I would not trust buying them online.

Not all stores have shoes that fit the same. K-Marts shoes run smaller. When my son was a size 5 and by their shoe chart he needed a 7, so getting a size from a local store and then ordering online won't help.
Reply:my son is 15 months old and is now wearing a size 6. When he was 12 months old it was about a 5.
