Do you put socks on your baby when they wear Robeez?

I just bought my 9 month old son some Robeez (shoes) .. and I'm wondering if I should put them on over socks? Or without socks?


Does it matter?

Do you put socks on your baby when they wear Robeez?
I never had a problem with them leaving marks on my daughters ankles. She does seem more comfortable without socks though. She doesnt pick at the shoes as much as she did when socks were on her feet. I would see if your son shows any signs of discomfort and switch it around.


I love them they are so cute and I always get compliments on them and my daughter who is a walker when I hold her hands loves them!

Reply:yes. she wears socks with her robeez. when the weather gets warmer, she'll just wear sandals anyways.
Reply:I personally don't use socks but I don't think it'll hurt to use socks.

Reply:I always use them with socks, it seems the top part of it (the inside that would touch the top of baby's foot) would hurt a bit.

Reply:i tried them without socks on my daughter and the top elastic had left marks on her ankle... ! also, they just seem more comfortable with socks... now for the summer, i'm thinking of putting really thin socks so her feet don't get toooo hot. but it shouldn't be a problem, cause they are made of leather, a material that breathes...
Reply:I didn't use socks until she started walking, when she did start, i used thin socks... when she got really good at it, i stopped... especially in summer... but the parents in our play groups don't use socks either with robeez. Only with regular shoes.
Reply:I would definately put socks on his feet. Do you like wearing shoes without socks, I know I don't. Probably not a big deal either way though.
Reply:Normally I put socks on with the Robeez, especially since it's cold here.
Reply:I have done it both ways. Now that the weather is warmer, without socks should be just fine.





They are so nice and soft, nothing should be rubbing against his little feet to cause blisters or anything.
