I know Feb. 14th is far from now but I have a boyfriend and found this cute heart necklace that he could give me since we will probably switch gifts. I intend on giving him some money to pay for it (it's like 20 dollars plus tax.) Is it wrong for me to give him the money to buy me th gift.

if you want those things buy them yourself its in very bad taste to give him the money and tell him what to buy. you are obviously too young to be dating





the point of a gift is for you to go out and pick out something the other would like and buy it with your money.

Reply:Giving someone money to buy you a gift defeats the purpose of it being a gift. If you want it that bad buy it yourself since it is for you, and you would be paying for it anyways...Thats just dumb.
