I work for a shoe vendor and need hints/help?

on how to get the product (baby/children shoes) into stores. I've been cold calling. (I've gotten some interest this way) Our company does do tradeshows through out the year. But I want to drum up more business. Any other sales people out there that have ideas, or websites. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Ask that Vendor only sincerely.
Reply:Try out free commercial sections of online message boards. There should be plenty of fashion topics to search under, most have a 'commerical' section.

You could also pay to get a mailing list and mail out postcards or tri-fold brochures to businesses in your industry.

Try going door to door in your area mall and introducing yourself to the buyer in department stores. Don't force yourself on them just introduce yourself and leave some product info behind. Follow up a week later and ask if they might be interested in setting up an appointment to discuss your product line.

Good luck!
