How'd you tell your loved ones?

how did you tell your parents and in laws that you and your spouse were expecting a baby?

A couple I know bought her mom baby shoes and gave them to her on Valentines day.

Anyone else have any cute ideas on how to tell loved one's you're expecting?

How'd you tell your loved ones?
Pink and blue bubble gum cigars?

A pink piggy bank with hearts all over it with the motto,

"Grandchild college savings fund" or something similar.

A picture of the first sonogram of the baby.

I like that last one.
Reply:If you want to make it a event, throw yourself a expecting party and have the decorations be of baby items and make sure that everyone arrive for dinner close to the same time and make sure you order a baby cake that says, were expecting a bundle of joy.

So at least most of your you're loved ones will be getting the news around the same time and can celebrate with you together.

You can also give a dinner and make believe their coming to a promotion party like you got promoted on the job and pass out envelopes that can only be open by everyone at one time and have in it a piece of paper in each saying is it a boy? or is it a girl? because were expecting and surprise them that way.

Good Luck!
Reply:Tell them that you have a biscuit in the oven.
Reply:Here in Singapore we have small books with cute short stories about being grandparents...it might be nice.
Reply:Grandparents day is September 10th, you can wait until then and then give them a little stuffed stork or some other kind of baby related gift and let them figure it out, it will be cute.
Reply:send them a baby shower bouquet. Make sure you write them a good note so they know who and why they are getting it. or invite them to dinner and have a baby cake for dessert.
Reply:You should get them something and say this is for grandma and grandpa! And they should get the picture...

Or take them to A%26amp;W and buy them a grandma burger and a grandpa burger.
Reply:when I told mine i gave them a picture frame that said something about grandparents and I put a ultra sound pic inside. It was cute and it made them cry. They were really excited.
Reply:yeah. You tell them softly.
Reply:ask them how they picked out their baby names and if they have any good ideas for names of babies that may be born in the next year!

happy thoughts of love, peace and light for you, your baby and your family!
Reply:How about this..."Mom, Dad, Hubby, I'm having a baby!" By the way, pluralization requires no apostrophe; the word "ones" is plural (meaning more than one), not possessive (meaning showing ownership).
Reply:What we did was we presented our ultrasound pix to my parents!
Reply:Buy tee shirts saying it is boy/girl
Reply:throw a party and tell them
Reply:i'ld suggest telling them strait up.. this aint time for games.. coz games get you into trouble and they end up getting funny ideas
Reply:You tell your parents and in laws that you and your spouse were expecting a baby by sitting them down and telling them in a gentle way and if they take in a bad way soon they will get over it.But you need to tell someone so they can have a clue of whats going on so after the baby gets born everyone will be there to help and support you don't want everyone to be mad at you for not telling them when thats your family
Reply:Email and show everyone the ultrasound photo
Reply:i saw on i think full house when i think becky was trying to tell her husband jesse she was pregnant and she made a dinner with baby peas baby corn etc. in the show he didnt get it, but if you think your spouse will get it i think its a cute idea. you could ask your parents if they still have your baby clothes (that is if you think they do) and when they get it out say 'this will look great on my baby!' or if they dont have any say 'then what will my baby wear?'. im not sure if i would use those but im just brainstorming here. you could leave a baby doll at your parents front door with a little sign saying someone's expecting then come out from hiding when they see it.

whatever you do i hope you have a healthy baby! good luck!
Reply:Start baby clothes shopping. OR get an old crib and redo it. OR start fixing up the room you will use for the baby. Things like that. They are subtle, yet will get the point across.
Reply:Send them a card, perhaps one that is intended for grandparents and put the baby's ultra-sound picture in it.
Reply:Told my parents and in laws that they were going to be grandparents.
Reply:I would get a card for grandparents. If one of them has a birthday coming up that would be perfect and sign it from theri grandchild. If there is no bday, you can still get a thinking of you card or something like that for grandparents.
Reply:give a framed pic of the ulta sound.
Reply:Just tell them "your going to be a grandma/grandpa" congratulations...you'll never get rid of me now!..lol
