What goes with a C&C California baby blue summer dress?

I'm wearing black tights under because the dress is VERY, VERY short. Any suggestions for what shoes to wear? I'd rather not wear heels because I'm going shopping so there would be A LOT of walking involved.


Also, any suggestions for accesories? I was thinking of a silver sequined sling purse..

At first i was going to say try to match the shoes to the dress, but with light colors on top and bottom with a dark in between, that can get funny looking. Go for some shiney black flats (good for shopping and walking). Finish with silver jewelry to tie in the purse. Here are some ideas:

I`d go with lighter tights like tan or neutral, keep the shoes a flat that r the style now and leave the silver sequined purse for evening wear.A shoe in a pewter metallic and matching handbag sound appropriate. Wear any jewelry of ur choice, but don`t overload as this is only a shopping trip.
Reply:Hmm...definitely wear flats, but since you are going out very simple, maybe funk up the outfit with striking flats. I dont mean bright yellow, I mean black with striking things on it. And yes, you are right, you probably DO need accessories: try a gold necklace with maybe another gold one (different style) and add hoops for a classy stylish touch. As for a purse, I am thinking patterned: VERY in right now. And keep your hair down, so that the hoops barely show, so that people will think that you didn't try hard on your outfit that day. Make sure you dont put your hair up in a ponytail because that will make everything look tacky. And just to tell you, that Angelica girl that answered with websites, she is going to every fashion and accessories question and pasting it in. Anyways I hope you look gorge and good luck with everything!

Reply:Ok first wear plain blue flats and then wear bangles on your hands and chunky braclets and necklaces. Also wear large hoop earrings and don't use the silver purse it doesn't match! Use a BLACK gold buckled hobo purse and if you have long hair leave it down then curl it and wear a blue headband, you'll look fabulous!

for accessories, i wouldnt wear a SEQUINED purse thats kinda 6th grade. but you could wear like a silver metalalic purse! and maybe a long dangly cute necklace, some silver, black, white, or blue bangles, and some NOT chunky rings
